Why God wants you to be Rich!!!

2nd Corinthians 8:9
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich"
Some people believe that its God's will for one to live on earth as poor person on earth  however let me shock you, God is a Rich!  God says in psalms 50:10 that "for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills" God  continues to say in Haggai 2:8  that "The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty".
It is true that there are men  like Lazarus who died poor but later  inherited the kingdom of God with its riches, and some other prophets like Elijah, Elisha, who even lacked what to eat were poor but later inherited the kingdom of God. below are some of the reasons why God wants you to be rich.
1. God wants to prosper Christians today so that they will not live for themselves but rather finance the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  Matthew 24:14 says "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come"
 2. God wants you to be rich so that you will be able to give to the needy proverbs 19:17 says that "He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done"
3. God wants you to be rich so that you will have good health and all will go well with you.3rd john 1:12 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
4. God wants you to be rich because you are His Child. John 1:12....To them that believed Him( Jesus)  He gave them the Right to become children of God.

The Bible talks about Men of God that were very  rich for example Abraham, the Bible says in Genesis 13:2 that (Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold.) The Bible in Genesis 26:13 says this about Isaac...The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.
The Bible says that Job owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.(Job 1:3).
God has called us to be rich so that we may finance the Gospel, so that the gospel will reach every where in the world.  if Christians do not finance the Gospel who is going to do so? the secular world is busy financing mischief  like homosexuality, lesbianism, drink up parties, knicker parties, among others.
if Christians determine to Give into the work of God through the churches and also support the welfare of the servants of God,  the church is going to be able to reach every where with the Gospel. the Gospel will be preached in market places, universities, schools, villages, on satellite, Facebook, twitter e.t.c then the end will come.
However the church is called to be faithful with the wealth that is given, to use this to the best  wealth for the glorification of the kingdom of God rather than self enrichment.

God has called us to;
1. worship Him( Jesus answered, "It is written: "Worship the Lord your God and serve him only".Luke 4:8.
2. work for the wealth ("He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in needEphesians 4:28.

3. Live a wealthy life. (The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy) Genesis 26:13.

The love of God for man kind.[ i believe through HIM the love of God for Man kind(i believe through him who strengthens me i will) who strenghens me i will.]]

Previously i was struggling with many challenges which could have seen me down and off the track from serving GOD. but as he declares that if people who are called by my name shall turn away from their sins, then will i hear from heave and heal their lamb. my testimony stands because its the grace of God that has seen me through. i have been struggling with dought of Gods promises to me. bad habits which have always convicted my inner man and made me guilty all the time before GOD.my revival came by the renewal of my mind. after i was handed over leadership as the head of generation impact ministries in April 2012,  had nothing much to do. God told me through s vision that i had taken his appointment for granted. but it was not me who chose to do so but the evil man that was dwelling in me.before i "was" not sure whether i will make it because it was an emotional decision that made me take on the leadership. on 27/05/2012. God still appointed me with another big office in one of my music ministry teams at my university. its that day that has become my turning point.
As i sat down in my room thinking of what i am going to do with these ministries,, i read psalm 1:1ff.,  1blessed is the man who does not walk in the way of the wicked nor stands in the path of the wicked nor sits in the counsel of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the lord. he meditates upon it day and night. he is like a tree planted by the riverside ,whose leaves does not weather.  THIS SCRIPTURE OPENED MY MIND and it gave me a new thinking. i chose to be the blessed man i therefore pledge alligency to serve God with all that i have. my future is in your hands.

This is what i therefor urge all my brothers and sisters in the lord, (children of God)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:12-16
Be blessed

"Am Crucified with Christ!!!.....I Nolonger Live"

 Galatians 2:20
"i have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me".
1. Jesus Loves us that is why he died for us. its so amazing that we have been crucified with Christ! what does it mean to be crucified with Christ? it means  crucifying our old ways that we once lived in before we came to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and fully obey and follow Christ. Luke 9:23 says that"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.  therefore to be crucified with Christ means letting go of the past ways and we fully submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ daily.
After we have  accepted Jesus, Christ lives in us and makes us obey God. and causes us to crucify the desires of the flesh. colosians 3:5 says that "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry".

2.through the new life we have in Christ Jesus, we have been called to live by faith in Jesus. to please God, we must have faith  Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him".
2nd Corinthians 5:7 says that "We live by faith, not by sight".
if we are to get anything from God, we must have faith that God is able to help us  Ephesians 3:20 " to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask of him according to the power that works in us". God works according to the power in us that works by the faith in us!. it is useless to pray if you know God is not going to answer your prayers! James 1:6 says that "But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind".

3. the new life we have in Christ is an implication that Christ lives and dwells in us and He is stronger than any circumstance we face.  Galatians 2:20 says....."it is no longer i  that lives but Christ lives in me".
colosians 1:27.." to them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory". because Christ is in us, He is stronger than every circumstance we face 1st john 4:4 says "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world".

May we stick to Christ, love him because he first loved us. enjoy your Easter celebrations.

NO RETREAT!.......NO SURRENDER!!

 Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

On battle, there is always winners and loosers. loosers usually retreat and surrender while winners seize and conquer the enemies territory! hallelujah!
Am not talking about the physical battle. am talking about the spiritual battle  which is between the devil and you.  we are supposed to win this battle because we are born of God. scripture says  in 1st john 5:4 that "for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith". when we get born again( accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour), we have victory that overcomes the world, i mean victory that overcomes Satan and all his schemes for  the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. that is the victory that we have in Christ Jesus! we cannot afford to retreat nor surrender!

God's desire is that we may live for Him in Righteousness and submission to his will  on earth and also go to live with Him in Heaven when we leave this world. but the devil's plan is to see us conform to the world and its evil desires, live in sin, reject the gospel  and go with him to hell  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23.

we must persevere amidst hard conditions and temptations  so as to stand for  the Lord in our generation. Paul encourages us to persevere in salvation  when he says I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus( Philipians 3:14),
Paul encourages us not to retreat when he says  "No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize".(1st corithians 9:27).

when we feel like we are loosing the battle to the enemy because of sin let us remember that   "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it".(1st corithians 10:13).
temptations do not come so that we fall  and feel like we have lost the battle. but rather that we will stand for God because has given us the power to withstand and say no! to sin.
scripture says in 1st john 2:1  My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous.

we still cannot retreat or surrender when we sin because Christ paid our penalty therefore we only ask for forgiveness and then receive it by faith in  Christ Jesus.
for Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." (Galatians 3:11).

The challenges you face today cannot cause you to retreat from salvation, for the present distress cannot be compared with the future Glory in Christ Jesus ( Romans 8:18).

The past and its troubles cannot rob you of the things of the good future and good things God has for you For God says "i know the plans i have for you declares the lord plans to give you a hope and a future"( Jeremiah 29:11). therefore you cannot retreat or surrender.

Diseases and pain cannot cause you to retreat from the salvation walk because  he says that " greater is He that is in you than the one in the world"(1st john 4:4).

lack and the economic crisis cannot cause you to retreat and surrender to dishonest gain or trickery because God says " he will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory" (Philippians 4;19.)

Dear reader its not time to retreat or surrender........it is time to oppose evil forces and stick like never before on God. "NEVER GIVE UP UNTIL THE BATTLE IS OVER".

LOVE IS.....

Love is patient, love is kind.
  It does not envy,
it does not boast, it is not proud.
 It does not dishonor others,
 it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
 It always protects,
 always trusts, always hopes,
 always perseveres.
  Love never fails.
 But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
 where there are tongues, they will be stilled;
where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
 When I was a child,
I talked like a child, I thought like a child,
I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.  For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

God's Grace is Sufficient For You!!!

 2nd corithians 12:8-9
Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me".

Grace can be defined to mean favour that  we do not deserve or "unmerrited favour"
God loves us even when we feel we do not deserve His love. May be because of the things we have done or because of the things we have failed to do. To recieve God's love and Grace is a response of our Love for Him(God) because He has loved us first.
When we recieve God's grace and forgiveness then we can freely give it to others who may also may feel undeserving.

in the scripture above,  Paul had a "thorn" it could have been a difficulty, a disease,a challenge, a weakness, a habit, alonging,a lust.....e.t.c and he asked the lord to take  it away from him but God did not remove it! God told Him that "My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in your weaknesses".

in life , we may face  so many challenges and we want God to take them away! but God want to work in circumstances when we have failed! God delights to work  with in our weaknesses, because when  we are weak, He  is strong. God is calling us to a relationship of complete trust in the times of our weaknesses.

When we trust God in our weaknesses, He is able to give us strength to resist and overcome the things that put us down. for example you may be struggling with a  habit or an addiction, God knows about it and if you trust Him to Help you, he will give you strength to overcome it!

HOW??

TITUS 2:11-13
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.  It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,  while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This grace that is sufficient will teach us to say no to temptation and we will live self- controlled lives! lives that give glory to God.
when you are faced with a habit that causes you to sin, know that God has given you power to resist through the grace that He has given you!
Trust the lord to help you in every circumstance because His grace is sufficient for you!

Christ In you....The Hope of Glory!!!!

Colossians 1:27 "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

1.Because Christ is in us , we have our sins forgiven because of the shed blood at calvary.  we have such an assurance of our salvation. Ephesians 1:7 states that "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace". because christ is in us, we have our past, present and future sins forgiven because of the shed blood at calvary.  we have such an assurance of our salvation. 1st peter 3:18 states that "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit"

2.Because Christ is in us we no longer live in condemnation. Romans 8:1 says that " there is therefore no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus" that means that we have been forgiven and not even the devil or our past sins should condemn us "  and even today, the same message   re-echoes that Jesus is in us and he doesn't condemn us. Romans 8:33 states that  "Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies".

3. Because Christ lives in us, we have been called unto good works. Ephesians 2:10 states that "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do".

4.Christ lives in us to make us  holy and blameless Ephesians 1: 4 states that "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.". it is amazing that we have been called to live holy and blameless lives. because that is why Jesus died. secondly Hebrews 10:10 states that   "And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all".

5.Christ lives in us to make us Righteous. 2nd Corinthians 5:21 states that  "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God". the Righteousness we have is not our own but rather has been given to us through Jesus's death at the cross.

6. Christ lives in us to make us heirs of God. Romans 8:17 states that;
"Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory". secondly we are  blessed by every spiritual blessing in Christ. scripture says in Ephesians 1:3  that  "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ".

Brought back to Prayer # 01 By Lars Widerberg

The past has not exhausted the possibilities nor the demands for doing great things for God. The Church that is dependent on its past history for its miracles of power and grace is a fallen Church. . .
The greatest benefactor this age could have is the man who will bring the teachers and the Church back to prayer.
E. M. Bounds
...
Any person, any Church brought to prayer ground will be made able to do great exploits for God. Any person, any Church brought to prayer ground will become initiating factors in spiritual realms for a testimony of Christ. Prayer ground, the set protocol for any person who dares to enter the realm and take on the work which – under the hand of the Holy Spirit – will serve God in the process of bringing redemptive purposes to its fulfillment.

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that are the Lord’s remembrancers, take ye no rest, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isa 62:6-7.

These words of Isaiah hold and reveal the secret of priestly interaction between the people of God, perhaps at times a small part of the people of God, and the Lord himself in the ultimate purposes and the redeeming operation of Jesus Christ to bring the Law of the Spirit of Life to bear on peoples and nations.

The Church stands far off, in these days, from its role in this spiritual drama. Any visit to a local Ground Zero, a place where the testimony of Jesus Christ has been reduced to rubble, would bring conviction and a challenge to any man – but the many in our churches has lost their ability to react with decency, lost their ability to blush. Prayer is to the many just one instrument among several to serve personal needs and ambitions. Prayer has been brought to a point of utter disgrace by self-focus and carnality.

Our first consideration in our prayer chambers and in our houses of prayer ought to focus our standing on prayer ground. Are we of any use in the interaction between the prayer chamber and the Lord in his redemptive work, in his setting the stage for the End Time drama? Are we able to understand the redemptive purposes of the Lord, its application in settings where truth is set aside, its application in settings where righteousness is regarded obsolete? Are we able to stand as remembrancers in the courts of the Lord, as helps and handmaidens in the divers aspects of his redeeming efforts?

“The past has not exhausted the possibilities nor the demands for doing great things for God. The greatest benefactor this age could have is the man who will bring the teachers and the Church back to prayer.”

LET IT GO!!! BY T.D JAKES

There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let
them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.
The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest
that they were not for
us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1
John 2:19]
People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not
joined to you, you can't make them stay.
Let them go.
And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their
part in the story is over and you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead.
You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the
gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye.
It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God
means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I
don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.
Let them go!!
If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was
never intended for your life,
then you need to......
LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ......
LET IT GO!!!
If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and
see your worth.....
LET IT GO!!!
If someone has angered you ........
LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......
LET IT GO!!!
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....
LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents
LET IT GO!!!
If you have a bad attitude.......
LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......
LET IT GO!!!
If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level
in Him......
LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken
relationship......................
LET IT GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help
themselves.....
LET IT GO!!!
If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........
LET IT GO!!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling
yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need
to......
LET IT GO!!!
Let the past be the past. Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new

Forget the Former things!!!

isiah 43:18
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
The past is a history and the future is a mystery. you may not have a say about your past but with God,you have a say about your future, death and life are in the power of your  tongue(proverbs 18:21) God has created us to live in victory, to live in the future no tin the past!. the scripture is  Hagai 2:9 says that the Glory of the latter House shall be greater than the former and there shall be peace. are you in a situation where you have lost peace because you condemn your self about something you have done  in the past? be glad my dear. if any man be in Christ Jesus the Old Has gone and the New has come!( 2nd corithians 5:17) it is such a joy to know that Christ took all our shame and suffered in our place. some one could have hurt you in the past, forgive them Apostle Paul In philipians 3:13 says that
"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead". it is important to focus on the future because God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly  above all we can ask from Him( Ephesians 3:20). but above everything God wants to live with every man in His heavenly kingdom and this is by accepting Jesus the perfect sacrifice for sins as  lord and saviour. every bad thing that happened to you in the past  was a loss that is why you should forget it! scripture says but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me(philipians 3:12). for the present distress cannot be compared to the future Glory in Christ Jesus!!
