"Am Crucified with Christ!!!.....I Nolonger Live"

 Galatians 2:20
"i have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me".
1. Jesus Loves us that is why he died for us. its so amazing that we have been crucified with Christ! what does it mean to be crucified with Christ? it means  crucifying our old ways that we once lived in before we came to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and fully obey and follow Christ. Luke 9:23 says that"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.  therefore to be crucified with Christ means letting go of the past ways and we fully submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ daily.
After we have  accepted Jesus, Christ lives in us and makes us obey God. and causes us to crucify the desires of the flesh. colosians 3:5 says that "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry".

2.through the new life we have in Christ Jesus, we have been called to live by faith in Jesus. to please God, we must have faith  Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him".
2nd Corinthians 5:7 says that "We live by faith, not by sight".
if we are to get anything from God, we must have faith that God is able to help us  Ephesians 3:20 " to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask of him according to the power that works in us". God works according to the power in us that works by the faith in us!. it is useless to pray if you know God is not going to answer your prayers! James 1:6 says that "But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind".

3. the new life we have in Christ is an implication that Christ lives and dwells in us and He is stronger than any circumstance we face.  Galatians 2:20 says....."it is no longer i  that lives but Christ lives in me".
colosians 1:27.." to them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory". because Christ is in us, He is stronger than every circumstance we face 1st john 4:4 says "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world".

May we stick to Christ, love him because he first loved us. enjoy your Easter celebrations.
