1ST chronicles 4:10....that you will enlarge my territory....this is part the prayer of Jabez...he asked that God would be with him, this means that God cannot enlarge a territory unless his hand is with you the bible says in psalms 124 that; if it wasn't for the lord on our side, our enemies would have over powered us, there fore if God is to enlarge your territory, His hand needs to be with you, His hand has power, it comes along with favor, prosperity as the bible says in proverbs 10:22 that it is God's blessing that make's one rich, God's hand comes with promotion. psalms 75:6 says that promotion comes from God, not the east or the west. so we need God's hand for him to enlarge our territory. we need his blessings, we need hi anointing, the anointing of God is His spirit that teaches us all things 1st john 2:27, the anointing will teach you everything concerning life and godliness.God will not enlarge your territory that you cause pain, in Jabez prayer' he prays that even when God enlarges His territory, that he will not cause pain, God cannot give you a blessing that you may obtain a curse no!! he gives you his blessing that you may bless others, after the blessing has worked through you, you give it away to others!
Jabez had a poor background,he had been born in pain.(that why he's called Jabez) but this didn't limit him from asking God that He would be blessed, God is never concerned with the past, He is always on the way to bless you if you stand in the position of being blessed.because the Bible says that draw near to God and He will draw near to you(James 4:8). when you draw one step to God, he draws 10 steps towards you, the bible says he will rejoice over you Zephaniah 3:14-17, and he will renew his love . additionally for God to enlarge your territory, he needs a relationship with you, so that when your territory is enlarged, it shall be for His purpose.
