Working out salvation with fear and trembling by Paul Agaba

Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

The price for our salvation was Christ dieing for us on calvary. We live by grace which is mercy that we do not deserve. The bible says in Romans 5:8 that “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. Christ died for our sins once and for all. Now God has given us the gift of salvation and he cannot take it away for the Bible says in Romans 11:29 that “ for the gifts of God are Irrevocable”. God cannot work out for you your salvation a father cant buy His child a toy gift and you expect Him to play with the gift for him. So God expects us to work out our own salvation be cause it is His gift to us. Salvation can be lost by renouncing it, just like you confess it.

These are some of the practical ways of working out our salvation in according to Ephesians 4:25-32
“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Be blessed as you work out your salvation with fear and trembling!!
