Romans 5:1-5…… “And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
There is one thing about hope…..hope works hand in hand with faith; faith is defined as "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith and hope apply in our day to day lives. For example one can tell a friend “lets meet in 20 minutes” they don’t know what will happen before the twenty minutes that would limit their engagement but still God allows them to meet! But for some reason they believe they will meet. That’s what we usually take for granted! Now that’s faith! And that is Hope! Faith in Jesus means you believe you can do every thing because we are more than conquerors. People commit suicide because they don’t have hope. We need to have hope because hope does not disappoint! Hope will come out for you. Let everything fail but allow hope to operate in your life. Because God will always make a way out, he will open doors for you, he will encourage you to work harder and also motivate your attitudes.
Hope will work out for us when we choose to surrender to God, surrendering means allowing God to take charge and when he takes charge; He does not want you to fight! (Exodus 14:14) the lord says that “I will fight for you if you hold your peace”. So hope entirely calls us to believe God to fight for us and also to depend on Him….nothing is difficult for God. (jeremiah32:17). You may be going through a hard time, let me encourage you to have hope, it will lead you to depend on God, when you fully depend on Him, he will fight for you! And you will not be disappointed. Even when you get disappointed…..don’t allow to live a life of disappointment believe God for new appointments!!
thank you Paul for posting this wonderful message.
