jeremiah 31:24 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
the greatest mystery of God's forgiveness is that when He forgives our sins, He forgets! Many times we condemn our selves for doing what is wrong even when we have repented of our sins....its a pity that we condemn our selves of sins that God has forgiven as the Bible teaches in Romans 8:33 that who will bring a charge against those whom God has chosen?.....it is God who justifies. and Romans 8:1 says that there is therefore no condemantion for those who are in Christ jesus.....you are not condemned you are loved, honoured and Justified by Jesus at the account of Christ's death on the cross.we as christians are bound to sin and not walk in the ways of God however Christ has guaranteed forgiveness to us through the shed blood at clavary and there is nothing we can do to pay for our sins because Jesus paid for the sins we will ever commit. after understanding this mystery of Grace we cant continue sinning because christ paid for our sins that is why paul asks that "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?"( romans 6:1). ceratainly not.the Grace that has been made available to us it teaches us to say no to Ungodliness but live selfcontrolled and upright lives in this present age( Titus 2:11).
"the mystery of God's forgiveness of our sins should give us a deeper commitment to Righteousness rather permission to sin willfully"
